Perry)  The Corporation of the City of Glenelg and The National Trust of South Australia 1985, 150pp. The phenomenal growth particularly from 1850 to 1886 reflects the calibre of the many people whose influence in Parliament, Local Government and the State. While great advances have been made since in engineering works, the many fine buildings and homes which remain today, and which are part of Glenelg's built heritage, are manifestations of the prosperity achieved. A most interesting book.
