FISHER'S
75th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL !
The
latest technology from the oldest name in the industry !
HIGH PERFORMANCE
This new improved Fisher F75
metal detector is a multi-purpose
high-performance computerized metal detector. It has the
high sensitivity and ground balancing control needed for
professional gold prospecting, the discrimination responsiveness
needed for serious relic hunting under difficult conditions, and
visual target ID considered essential in searching for coins.
The F75 operates at 13 kHz for good sensitivity to gold
nuggets and jewellery as well as to coins. The F75 comes
with an 11-inch elliptical Bi-Axial search coil for maximum
detection depth in mineralized soils.
USER COMFORT
The Fisher F75
metal detector is among the lightest and
best balanced of all high-performance metal detectors, so you
can hold and swing it almost effortlessly. The arm rest
position is adjustable to fit your arm. The grip is
durable high-friction foam elastomer, comfortable in any kind of
weather. The controls are conveniently located and easy to
learn how to use. Locking collars on the tubes eliminate
rattling.
EASY-TO-USE & INFORMATIVE INTERFACE
The
entire menu is always visible on the LCD display. The LCD
display indicates the electrical signature (target I.D.) of the
detected metal object. The display provides continuous
information on battery condition and on ground mineralization,
which affects detection depth. Help messages are
automatically displayed on the bottom of the display when
necessary.
LOW OPERATING COST
The
Fisher
F75 metal
detector
is powered by four AA alkaline batteries, which will typically
last for more than 30 hours of use before needing replacement

FISHER HISTORY
In the late 1920's, Dr. Gerhard Fisher
obtained the patent ever issued on radio radio direction finders. He was
working in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. at the time as a Research
Engineer and his work attracted the interest of Dr. Albert Einstein. After a
demonstration of Dr. Fisher's equipment, Einstein enthusiastically and
correctly predicted the world-wide use of radio direction finders in the
air, on land, and at sea.
When using such direction finders during
those early years, aircraft pilots found that errors would occur in their
bearings when there was metal between the transmitter and receiver, or
whenever they passed over certain areas. Different pilots flying different
planes always observed the same errors at the same places which eventually
proved to be highly conductive mineralized areas. Dr. Fisher concluded
that a portable electronic prospecting instrument could be developed on the
same principle to detect the presence of small buried objects and ore
deposits.
Dr. Gerhard Fisher with his early 2-Box metal detector
He continued his research into this phenomena
and in 1931 he founded Fisher Research Laboratory in his Palo Alto,
California garage. He and four employees began producing the "Metallascope",
a rugged, easy-to-use, metal detector. By today's standards, it was perhaps
an ungainly device; to large flat wooden boxes containing simple copper
coils, five vacuum tubes, and a few assorted components. But the "Metallascope"
soon captivated the imagination of the country, and within a short time, the
world. In 1937, Dr. Fisher was granted the first metal detector patent.
The "Metallascope" was soon
nick-named the "M-Scope", and as such, became an accepted
standard for all types of electronic metal detection; geologists located
ore, treasure hunters found treasure, utility companies located buried
pipes, lumber mills located metal inclusions in sawn logs, and law
enforcement agencies used it to locate abandoned or hidden weapons.
During World War II and the subsequent Korean
conflict, the company was called upon to contribute its technical competence
to the war effort; but the M-Scope business was never neglected. With the
increasing popularity of the M-Scopes, and with the Fisher patent rights
expiring, numerous competitors began producing similar equipment. But due to
relentless efforts to incorporate every available technical advance, and
particularly by keeping close contact with countless users, and utilizing
their vast fund of field experience in the design of new models, Fisher
maintained its position of solid leadership. Over the years, Fisher has
designed and produced such sophisticated products as geiger counters, radio
communication systems, voltage detectors, and cable fault locators.
In 1967, Dr. Fisher retired; having firmly
established his name in the annals of electronic history. The company
continued to grow, and in 1974, Fisher research laboratory moved to Los
Banos, California; still maintaining the same traditions of innovation and
quality. Today, the company offers a complete line of underground detection
devices, ranging from water leak detectors to hobby metal detectors, with
customers all over the world.
In 2006 - Fisher
moved its whole operation to El Paso, Texas, U.S.A. now being
owned and part of the FIRST TEXAS HOLDINGS CORPORATION company
who manufacture the famous BOUNTY HUNTER range of metal
detectors for which our company, TREASURE
ENTERPRISES OF AUSTRALIA is the factory authorized sole Australasian
distributor.
