The BOUNTY HUNTER ... TRACKER IV Metal Detector is a user-friendly instrument, offering unbeatable value for money, yet delivering effective performance over a wide range of conditions and applications. They are ideal for the location of: Manhole covers, water pipes, valves, survey pins and lost machinery parts, etc – the list is endless! These units can also be used for the location of ferrous (iron metal) and non-ferrous (non-iron metal) targets whether they be small or large, hidden in timber logs, timber posts, timber off-cuts, timber flooring, re-cycled timber, etc. By using either of these metal detectors to check over any timber prior to being sawn, it will no doubt, save many hundreds of dollars in damaged saw blades. They can also be used to locate buried tools and parts around the timberyard. FEATURES: This quality, yet low priced unit features: Automatic ground cancelling which nulls the effect of iron-mineralized ground and can even be used in salt areas near or on the beach with no loss of sensitivity. It also nulls the effect of sap if checking recently felled timber. They have two (2) modes of operation. One is the All Metal and the other the Discrimination mode. The Discrimination mode can null out ferrous metal while accepting non-ferrous metal if required. The best mode to use in any of the above applications is the All Metal mode. SPECIFICATIONS: The Bounty Hunter TRACKER IV has an 8” open spider waterproof search coil and an intensity meter. This unit features an audio speaker and headphone jack. The unit weighing only 1.5 kg is powered by two (2) 9 volt Alkaline Batteries which last around 20 to 25 hours. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES available that can be purchased are as follows: Headphones ($39.50); 4” search coil ($85.00); 10” search coil ($105.00), protective search coil covers: 8" ($18.00); 4" ($16.00); 10" ($18.50) and Carry Bag ($75.00) .... all prices include GST.
