Dimension Model Crystal Form
(Construction Kit)
Science teachers, students,
crystallographers, mineralogists, geometricians and others, can
now own a set of inexpensive, but useful, crystal models.
There is one (1) type of
construction set now available:
15
model package
Details on this kit is listed below:
Every unique form in all the
systems is included. One set of axes has been selected for each
system. All forms in that system are developed to fit these
axes. The series is thus quantitive as well as qualitive.
An example is reproduced of a
OCTOHEDRON hereunder which has been reduced in size for this
page.

The models are fashioned from
the printed plates by scoring on the solid lines, cutting along
or outside the dotted lines, folding where previously scored,
and fastening the tabs thus formed with a good quality of
mucilage. All the forms have been designed with precision and
printed on heavy ledger paper which is stiff and surprisingly
rigid in the finished model.
Assembled models may be
differentiated with water colours or poster paints and may be
protected by lacquering. Parameters or indices and axes symbols
may be inscribed for demonstration purposes.

DIAMOND
DISPLAY SETS
The following DIAMOND
DISPLAY SETS and separate
stones are available.
If you've ever seen similar models of diamonds
in synthetic spinel or, even worse, moulded glass or plastic, you'll know
exactly what we mean.
If you are selling the most expensive stone in
the world, we believe you should have the most beautiful aids.
The material used here is, of course, cubic
zirconia but CZ is normally badly cut.
A lapidary by our associated company has been
set up in Sri Lanka specially to produce material for these aids. Here CZ is cut
to the same exacting standards that are used for diamonds. The simplest of our
aids takes an experienced cutter at least half a day to make and quality
is maintained by the manager, a graduate of the gem-cutting school in Ida
Oberstein.
The quality shows everywhere - except in the
price. We are actually cheaper than those glass imitations we were talking about
earlier !
Please contact us for an illustrated catalogue
showing the various sets and shapes.

Box 1 - Diamond Set - 10 stones (Round - Brilliant
cut)
Everybody talks about a one-carat diamond but how many
know how big it is? In this box, we have stones the equivalent sizes to
diamonds of 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 and 75 points and 1, 1.25, 1.50 and 2
carats, each cut to within 1/20mm of ideal diamond size as given by the
Presidium diamond gauge.

Box 3 - Diamond Set - 1 Carat (Round - Brilliant
cut)
One carat of diamonds doesn't always come as one stone.
Here, see together a "1 carat diamond" as: 1 carat;
2 x 50 points = 1 carat; 30 points + 40 points + 30 points = 1 carat; 4 x
25 points = 1 carat; and ... 9 x 11 points = 1 carat.
